We Want All Students to Know How to Stay Safe Online!

AND, CIPA (Children's Internet Protection Act) requires school districts that participate in E-Rate funding provide for the safety of children while on the internet.  Effective July 1, 2012, CIPA requires school districts have and implement a board approved policy that includes "...educating minors about appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms and cyberbullying awareness and response.”

 COST: Annual cost of $.50 per student. A one time set up fee of $1000 per district. There is a minimum $500 annual fee for small districts.
